Who I Work With

I specialize in supporting adults who are navigating the complexities of identity, trauma, and belonging. You do not need a specific diagnosis to be here.

Emotional Intensity & Shame

You might feel like your emotions are "too big" or that you are constantly on a rollercoaster. Or perhaps you swing between feeling everything and feeling numb.

  • Borderline Personality related struggles: Fear of abandonment, unstable relationships, and a shifting sense of self.
  • Chronic shame: A deep-seated feeling that you are fundamentally flawed or "bad."
  • Self-criticism: An inner voice that is harsh, demanding, and unrelenting.

Family & Attachment

Our earliest relationships shape how we see ourselves and the world. If those relationships were unpredictable or unsafe, it can leave a lasting imprint.

  • Childhood trauma: Growing up in a home with addiction, neglect, or emotional volatility.
  • Intergenerational trauma: Carrying the weight of family history and unhealed wounds passed down.
  • Relationship patterns: Finding yourself in the same painful dynamic with partners or friends, again and again.

Identity & Belonging

Navigating who you are in a world that often tries to define you can be exhausting. I offer an affirming space to explore all parts of your identity.

  • Racial & Cultural Identity: The specific stress of navigating white-dominant spaces and the journey of reclaiming your heritage.
  • LGBTQ+ Experiences: Exploring gender, sexuality, and the process of coming out or inviting in.
  • Life Transitions: Big changes that shake your sense of who you are, career shifts, breakups, or moving to a new city.
Balanced stones representing stability

"You do not have to be 'healed' to be whole."

A Note on Diagnosis

You may have been given labels in the past, or you may be wondering if you fit into a certain category.

While diagnoses can sometimes offer a helpful framework, they are not the whole story. In our work, we focus less on "what is wrong with you" and more on "what happened to you" and how you have learned to survive.
